Spinal Adjusting
By gently and specifically introducing motion to the joints of the spine, spinal adjustments reduce excessive tension, compression, and/or torsion on the spinal cord and nerve roots. This results in improved communication between the nervous system and the rest of the body, increased range of motion, and a greater capacity to adapt to life’s stressors.
Extremity Adjusting
From the feet and ankles to the knees, hips, shoulders, elbows, wrists, hands, and ribs, chiropractic adjustments are for more than just the spine! Extremity adjustments are a powerful way to improve joint function and take stress off peripheral nerves. Dr. Alex views the body as an integrated system rather than the sum of its parts and assesses the extremities in addition to the spine at every visit. Whether it’s a rotator cuff injury, carpal tunnel, a rolled ankle, or knee pain, Dr. Alex has extensive training in analyzing and adjusting any joint in the body.

Cranial Adjusting
Did you know that the sutural joints of the skull are not entirely fused? They subtly expand and contract (less than a millimeter) in order to circulate cerebrospinal fluid (aka CSF) around the brain and spinal cord. Cranial adjusting helps the sutural joints move better so they can circulate fluid around the brain and spinal cord more effectively. Cranial adjusting also helps calm down the “fight or flight” response and facilitates a shift into a more restful physiological state. It is especially helpful with headaches/migraines, sinus issues, TMJ dysfunction, and has even been used in clinical research with neurodegenerative diseases like CTE.
What To Expect
At your first visit to Love Your Life Chiropractic, Dr. Alex will do a consultation and examination with you to learn more about you, your health, and your goals. Afterwards, you will receive your first adjustment and recommendations for care going forward as well as any relevant referrals. The first visit is $90 and is a 45 minute appointment.
Follow up visits are $60 for a 15 minute full body adjustment.
Love Your Life Chiropractic is a self-pay office. This ensures that you receive the best care possible without insurance companies needlessly complicating your journey to wellness. Between co-pays, deductibles, co-insurance and unexpected denials, patients who seek to use their insurance for chiropractic care end up paying more than our self-pay prices on average.
